Podcast #68 | What Does Easter Mean to Us?

Listen on the following platforms:

When we think of Easter at this time of year, with spring in the air and the end of winter we can be joyful. But it is also a feast that speaks of who God is and who we are. God who has died for us and we, his children who are so loved.

In this podcast episode, Siobhan and Máire discuss the credibility of Easter as seen in the early accounts of Easter in the Gospels and the disbelief of the early followers of Christ.

We explore the craziness of our Catholic faith whose crowning feast is man putting God to death and God's coming back to life. We discuss how that very central message requires unpacking among our peers. We explore the transformative power Easter can have on each one of us and the magnificence of the Easter liturgy which we can reflect and pray about in the 50 days of the Easter celebration.
